we were meant to be

Dream with your eyes closed
Try and pluck the pearls from your bones

The last two weeks I've mostly listened to Razia's Shadow non-stop. That's exactly what Fueled by Ramen needed, a freaking musical. It's absolutely fantastic.

Featuring guest vocals from Brendon Urie (Panic at the Disco), Greta Salpeter (The Hush Sound), Shawn Harris (The Matches), Dan Young (This Providence), Chris Conley (Say Anything) and Max Bemis (Say Anything), Forgive Durden's latest album is the brainchild of sole remaining member of the band, Thomas Dutton, and was co-written with his brother Paul. With narration throughout the 13-track release, its tells “the story of a world divided in two by the selfish actions of a powerful and egotistical, yet insecure angel. After generations of darkness, the world is eventually brought back together by the love and sacrifice of a couple brave enough to fulfill their destinies.”

It's ambitious, and completely intriguing.

You can buy the album now from the Fueled by Ramen webstore.
